After 35 years of artistic endeavor in music as a singer known for her powerful interpretation skill and her beautiful singing voice, Janis transferred her unique artistic ability to paint verbal pictures through her songs, and her insights.

She paints symbolic pictures as well as folk, abstract and witty cartoon stylings. Some of her art is considered God-inspired and prophetic in nature.
